Post Op Pics

I took the chance to snap some pics after surgery while all the lights were on in the room and Garrett was sedated.  Here he is right after surgery.  From this side you cannot even tell her had his repair surgery.


Here is a shot of his dark hair.


Little baby.


This shows 2 of his small incisions from surgery -- 1 is in the middle of the picture, the other is kind of under his arm.  The 'thing' on his shoulder is a Central Line.  It is kind of like a large IV.  They had to put it in for surgery.

    glad the surgery went so well. hope he is able to rest a lot in the next few days and start his journey toward being discharged!

    Janna, I've had computer problems and haven't been able to read all of your updates but I've been praying for Garrett every day, and for you and your family as well. I am so happy to hear that the surgery went well. He is a beautiful baby! And I love the name you chose for him too.

    Thanks for the pictures, just unbelievable what the surgens can do today, such a small incision, Garrett wouldn't even have any scar to brag about when he gets older. LOL . Prayers for Garrett for a smooth recovery.

    I'm so happy the surgery went well !! I can't believe the incisions are so small. The 1st pic brings tears to my eyes, with the amount of tubes, etc. on him :( I will continue to pray that he recovers quickly !!! He's so adorable !!!! Love, Lindy

    He is so precious, I hope he recovers from his surgery well. you are a very storong woman and I continue to think of you and your little CDH fighter everyday. I also got emotional looking at the pictures of him with all those tubes so I can only imagine what your family is going through. Stay tough, Teagan and I pray for you everynight. Love ya girl -Tiff
